Presidents Hall of Fame
Life-Size, Authentic Re-Creations

  1. Research your president to know his appearance, the style clothing he wore, and other information to help you re-create a life-size and authentic representation of your president.

  2. Have someone lie down on the paper posed in the position you need for your re-creation, then trace around them. Do not cut out the shape yet.

  3. For clothing, you can paint, color (very carefully, neatly, one-direction), use color paper (gift wrap, shelf paper, butcher paper, construction paper, etc.), or use lightweight fabric.

  4. To give it some reality, add real buttons, lace, ruffles, ties, or other items. Some students make photocopies of the president's face as well (just watch out for the scale to match the size of the body).

  5. When you are finished, cut it out!
